The not-self as ally - audio masterclass
1 hour and 22 minutes
"Don't let your mind tell you that the not-self is bad or wrong. If you're frustrated or bitter, that's your truth."
Mary Ann brings an unexpectedly sparkling and refreshing approach to the not-self.
She makes it crystal clear how counterproductive it is to fight or judge the not-self, and how such judgments can turn into ‘sneaky’ entrance points for the mind to take over.
What if the not-self can become our ally?
What if we work with it rather than against it?
Next to that, this audio brings
unexpected advice for working with the conditioning of each of the undefined centers
notes on how the strategies of each Type can support the deconditioning process, and a sweet exercise to help you visualize the not-self.
Potential side effects of listening to this audio: laughter and relaxation.

Ayla: I don’t know how it’s possible but Mary Ann keeps surprising me. My mind is so used to labeling things as ‘good’ and ‘bad, and of course, the not-self ended up in the “bad pile”. I didn’t realize how labeling the not-self as ‘bad’ perpetuated the not-self. (🤯) After listening to this audio, I realized it’s okay to be a frustrated and clingy smart-ass who tries to prove herself (a Manifesting Generator with an undefined Spleen, Ajna + Head and Heart). It’s - part of - where I am now and I can’t just edit it out. It’s been easier to see them as insightful signposts rather than ‘parts of me that are wrong’ - and that’s positively changed my day-to-day experience of myself.
